Here's what Karen has to say about her
Perfect Pins
I have never before worked with a pin that is this
thin. It is very, very skinny and very sharp. You can see the size in
the photograph. Because the head on these pins is so small I find that I
like to spill the pins onto a piece of felt, making it easier to pick
them up. There are 50 pins in each little plastic tube. We think they would be perfect for applique with batik fabrics as they are so fine they pierce the tight weave of the cloth.

Here's what Karen has to say:
Perfect Ovals
If you love your Perfect Circles® you will love the
Perfect Ovals™. They are made from the same heat resistant plastic as
the Perfect Circles® so you can use them with an iron on a medium heat
setting. Inside each package are detailed directions along with 20
ovals, 10 sizes, 2 of each size. I love them for making grapes and
flower petals and I have not doubt you will find even more used for
them.
|
Perfect Circles®
As seen on Simply Quilts and American Quilter. This
package contains 15 different circle sizes, 4 of each size, ranging from
7/16" to 2" for a total of 60 circles. Following the directions
included in this package you can make perfect circles for your hand and
machine applique
|
Perfect Stems
In this package are detailed directions and five
different sizes of heat resistant strips. These strips will allow you
to make perfect stems that are a little over 1/2", 3/8", 1/4", a little
over 1/8" and 1/8" wide.

Here's what Karen has to say: After many requests and much research I am finally able to bring you
larger sizes of Perfect Circles®. There are ten different sizes ranging
from 2-1/4” to 4-1/2” and they are made from heat resistant plastic so
you can use them with an iron. These bigger sizes are great for the
center of a Mariner’s Compass block, Drunkard’s Patch blocks,
traditional appliqué and so much more.

Karen Kay. Buckley Perfect Scissors 4 inch
Comfortable Soft Green Handles with 4" Micro Serrated Blade. Great
for those with stiffness in your hands. The micro serrated blades help
to prevent frayed edges and keep the fabric from slipping so cutting is
more accurate. Great for applique and for when you need to cut it "just
so." Protective Plastic Cover

Here's what Karen has to say about her newest scissor introduction:
After many of you requested a medium size of our Perfect Scissors™ we
are happy to provide them for you. As with all of our scissors they
have a soft grip handle and a plastic protective cover. One blade is
micro-serrated and one is a regular blade which can be sharpened. There
is a small video clip on the opening page of the site (http://www.karenkaybuckley.com) if you would like
more information.

Here's what Karen has to say about her 7 1/2" scissors:
I have been using nothing but serrarted edge scissors to cut my fabric
for the past 25 years. I love the way the serrated blade cuts into my
fabric. This special blade pulls the fabric into the scissors rather
than pushing it alway like traditional scissors. Things you will like
about these scissors...cushioned handle, easy for right or left hander
to use, blades sharp to the very tip, serrated blade keeps fabric from
fraying, light weight and comfortable. The 7 1/2" size are great for
cutting single or mutiple layers of fabric. I can comfortably cut up to
4 layers. If your quilt has a lot of one shape, layer cutting saves a
tremendous amount of time.
