The rare and stunning 1870’s French curtain panel, a flourishing botanical study of meadow plant life, became the inspiration for Forest Glen. Narrow streams meander through valleys filled with delicate flowering orchids, camillas, tuberose, clover, and woodruff.
The Highlands floral has a delicate balance of raspberry, pink, and heather flowers blooming from leaf clusters in natural shades of sage, celery, and lichen green. Companion prints are all 19th-century bits from charm quilts. A paisley becomes dewdrops, the ruffle print adds movement to the collection, and the Jacobean floral is the perfect tone-on-tone print to enhance the repertoire with color.
