Dawn on the Prairie came out of the memories of thatsweet family trip, where we were greeted every day withsunrises streaming in to the little cabin, hiking amongstgrasses, picking wildflowers and simply being together.

My creative senses become even more awakened whenI’m out of my usual space & routine and I took note ofthe fresh eggs and flowers that greeted us as our boysscurried off to a loft to claim beds. Nothing but a dirtroad, land, animals, wildflowers, and a couple othercabins were our neighbors for the next few days.It’s a wonderful thing to be away from home and yet tobe welcomed into a space that feels so perfectly cozy
