Showering Stars home decor projects make a sparkling addition to the table and couch with this 16 1/4" x 71" table runner and two coordinating 26" pillow covers.

Patchwork squares and half square triangles make these fun and striking projects that can be made separately or the yardage is also specified to make all three. Shown in holiday fabrics but these designs are year-round festive looks. Based off the ideas in the original Showering Stars quilt by Robin Pickens and scaled down to smaller size and reformatted for these runners and pillows.

Would also make a stunning, eye catching wall hanging for those small spaces in urban apartments where nothing large will fit.

Sliding Shoji Screens uses large horizontal panels, reminiscent of sliding Japanese screens, to showcase bold and large scale fabrics or for a modern modular approach.

This pattern can use Jelly Roll strips for piecing the dividing lines to save time and cutting. From a simple cutting structure you have enough rectangular panels to make Quilt A, and if desired, add large panel yardage to make companion Quilt B.

Quilt size 60 x 74.
Jubilant Song is a 60 1/2 x 67 1/2 inch lap quilt that is reminiscent of cathedral windows or stained glass.

The quilt uses three vertical panels to show off big areas of large-scaled prints or main focal prints, framed by thin sashing and very decorative and lacy tops and bottoms.

The ends of the panels have a sparkly impact when shown on a dark background or can play with red and green in a Christmas-like theme.

Shown in holiday fabrics (Splendid by Robin Pickens) but would be an elegant quilt in any fabrics and color scheme.

Piecing utilizes half square triangles and flying geese and sub-cutting joined strips.

Cardinals Christmas Wreath Quilt Pattern by Robin Pickens Joy and Delight Quilt Pattern by Robin Pickens
Every year you say you are going to make a new throw or wall hanging to add to your holiday home decor, but each year you forget. Well, now's the time to get that going!

Cardinal's Christmas Wreath is a quilt pattern for a Wall or Lap Quilt, sized 45" x 47 3/4" for small and 54 1/2" x 60" for large.

This pattern is Layer Cake- friendly (or uses an assortment of 10" squares in Reds, Greens, Black and background and border colors).

The pattern uses patchwork and half square triangles to make a festive holiday quilt.

Don't let the holiday colors fool you! This is a great pattern, using layer cakes, that can be made for any color scheme and adjusted easily to fit your bed.

Joy and Delight is an 83 1/2" x 83 1/2" square quilt using yardage or layer cake squares in a festive framework.

Enlarge your outer borders to make this a queen quilt. And if you don't like square quilts for your beds, simply enlarge the top and bottom borders to be bigger than the side borders, or add an intermediary border to the top and bottom only to enlongate the quilt and voila, it's no longer square.

Decorative frames show off focal prints so its great for those showy fabrics you don't want to cut. The quilt uses two rotating main prints OR it can be done in a scrappier way by using a variety of prints from a layer cake with a larger mix of fabrics for the framing.

The project uses flying geese, sub-cutting joined strips and basic piecing to make this holiday quilt.

Layer cake friendly.
