From Margaret:May I introduce you to ‘Up Hill & Down Dale’ … what a joy it has been to stitch this hand-pieced and hand-appliqué quilt, with a wee bit of EPP thrown in. I used Peasholme Green fabrics and added a tiny smattering of faves from my stash, which worked beautifully together.

Gorgeous New quilt by published quilt artist, Margaret Mew, using her newest fabric collection "Peasholme Green", co-designed with Judy Newman. (Both ladies are QuiltMania authors, quilt designers, and quilt teachers.) Margaret and Judy worked closely with the Quilters' Guild of the UK to bring these stunning fabrics from an antique quilt to life.

Skill level ~ Intermediate.

This quilt is hand-appliqued and hand-pieced; it requires experience in the following techniques

• Needle-turn applique, English paper Piecing (EPP), hand piecing
• Full-size templates to trace.

• The pattern
• The fabrics for the top and binding
