We are quilters, too, and we know you want more fabric, more quilting patterns, not more shipping charges!
SEE BELOW FOR WHEN WILL YOUR ORDER SHIP:
Rates to Canada can be very reasonable. The cost of shipping a small pattern in a 6 x 9 envelope usually isn't more than $2.88. Rates for packages, and parcels can be seen at www.USPS.com should you have a question.
When you checkout choose the options for shipping to CANADA.
Excess fees: If the cost estimated by shopping cart are too high, refunds are issued when the item has shipped.
IF THE CART TELLS YOU THAT NO SHIPPING RATE IS AVAILABLE, IT MEANS YOU RESIDE IN A COUNTRY WE DON'T USUALLY SHIP TO. WE WILL NEED TO CONTACT YOU WITH RATE AND PAYMENT INFORMATION. WE DO NOT SHIP TO ALL COUNTRIES.
WHEN WILL YOUR ORDER SHIP???
We work to fill orders 364 days per year. We do ship US orders at the post office on Sundays. International require that we use the counter service.
If you have questions about your order, email us at vintageandvoguequilting @ gmail.com ( no spaces).
If your order is an international one, we will gather all items and ship complete. This saves you on shipping $$$ Costs.
If the order is a US Order:
If the item(s) are in stock, they will ship out as quickly as possible.
If you have ordered yardage or bundles of fabrics, these items need to be cut off the bolt, and that can take time, and shipping time will vary depending on the number of orders received before yours. We are very mindful of delays and use extra staffing to keep this moving as quickly as humanly possible. When new fabric collections arrive we are cutting fabric 12-15 hours a day until the backlog is cleared.
If no fabric is involved, the item is in stock, it will ship out usually within 24 hours. In the wintertime, weather delays can happen. Ice Storms and snow storms can delay shipment but these delays are usually no more than one day. On a weekend, it can be 2 days.
If some items are in stock, and others aren't, we use our judgement: if the other item is set to arrive within 3 days, we may hold it up to ship together. This saves postage and helps keep our rates bare bones.
If we think the delay may be more than 3 days, we will ship what is available immediately, and back order the other items.
You can check your order status by logging into your account. It should show you shipped, partially shipped, pending shipment or processing. The processing status means, we are aware of your order, but its in the works. Pending (for a fabric order) means we are cutting it. We do put notes in the comment section, to update what has shipped, or what hasn't in the case of partially shipped. These notes are usually dated.
