This Collection is a return to early French blues. Sacre Bleu or sacred blue or holy blue has been the classic color of France since the 15th century. It is said to be the color of courage.
This collection of blues was inspired by their summers in France and dyeing of antique white linen scraps into a beautiful shade of Woad blue.
The collection features three of their favorite blues: French Blue, Woad Blue and Indigo. We've also incorporated a bit of Ciel Bleu.
Try adding the French Ginghams to the mix and you'll have the start to a perfect French country quilt.
