The Jubilant quilt features the richly-colored fabrics of the Bleu de France collection, designed by French General for Moda Fabrics. The kit includes the pattern, designed by Wendy Sheppard, and all the fabrics to make a replica of the quilt top shown.
The pattern is well written by a very experienced pattern author, and suitable for confident beginners and advanced quilters alike. The background fabric may come in 2 cuts, but we would provide extra fabric for "wiggle room". The finished quilt measures 63" x 63". Block fairs may vary from those shown but will all be from Bleu de France by French General.
Backing and batting are not included. ( You will need 4 1/8 Yards fabric. We urge you to order backing now if you want fabric from the Bleu de France collection, which is selling very fast.
About the collection, from the designer: "Our new collection, Bleu de France, highlights all of the beautiful French blues. Bleu de France (French Blue) is a color traditionally used to represent France. Blue has been used in the heraldry of the French monarchy since at least the 12th century, with the golden fleurs-de-lis of the kings always set on a blue background. This classic collection will blend well with all of our Favorite Solid colors to make up a collection of fresh, modern quilts."
