Designed by Di Ford-Hall for Andover Fabrics, this cotton print fabric is perfect for quilting, apparel and home decor accents. Colors include tan, brown and pink. This charming motif is a small overall design, where the color is a more dominant factor than the design motif itself. The small bell flower motif repeats across the fabric in alternating up/down positions and in rows across the width of the fabric. The top half of the design is 4 petals of a flower. The bottom half of the design is a fan that could be the flower girl's skirt. At the very base of the motif is a single dot. Even though the motif is quite intricate, it seems somewhat restful in this colorway, although not as much as the tan. Typical of the late 1700s -early1800s, and combines multiple design elements that were popular in the 19th century. The resulting motif would work very effectively in patchwork, as well as in the setting, such as in setting triangles or as a border or backing or binding.
