Mayflower Block 1 - We started our quilt from the center block asking each other what represented America’s beginnings to us. The Mayflower landing in Massachusetts just seemed to be the perfect center block for our quilt and that was how it all started. The Mayflower is surrounded with a wreath of flower and berries and tucked into the wreath the state bird Black Capped Chickadee.
