As a teenager, Cécile Franconie learned to crochet with the invaluable help of her grandmother. Wishing to master other techniques, she gradually tried her hand at other pursuits related to the art of thread. From miniature quilts to more complex works such as plaids and bedspreads, Cécile Franconie soon began to interest publications and publishing houses specializing in the art of thread and creative hobbies. Flower Obsession is the third book signed by Quiltmania. Embellishing quilts is Cécile’s priority and passion. Enamored of traditional blocks and quilting, Cécile likes to revisit them and enliven them with beautiful embroidered flowers of all types.
