The quilt is styled as a sampler quilt with applique and pieced blocks of varying shapes and sizes. This design is borderless, and could easily be enlarged to fit a Queen size bed by adding borders. Applique includes a vase of flowers, vines, a geisha girl with umbrella, a bird on a branch and more. There are more pieced blocks than applique and include the house, stars, checkboard squares, and many, many more providing a quilt design that is visually dense and busy to look at.
