American Album Block of the Month - Alaska Block 21
Alaska The Last Frontier Block 21 - Alaska is known as “America’s Last Frontier” because of its distance from the lower 48 states and its rugged landscape and climate. The word Alaska comes from the Aleutian word “Alyeska,” meaning “The Great Land.” State symbols Moose, Salmon & Forget-Me-Not. Pink flower is Fireweed probably the best known wildflower in Alaska.
Our love for Baltimore Album Quilts made during the 1800's was the inspiration for our American Album Blocks. Each realistic album style block is filled with flowers, birds and a little American History. Each pattern includes full size numbered pattern with detailed embroidery instructions and Pearl's Easy Applique Techniques. Join us as we travel across America block by block and state by state.
